Shimpo offers a range of pre-calibrated load
cells and torque transducers that, when used with our Digital Remote Indicator, safely
allow the accurate measurement of forces and torque in hard-to-reach areas.
The Digital Remote Indicator (DRI)
incorporates Shimpos flagship DFS gauge design and features a high sampling rate of
up to 1,000 hz for precise peak force and torque measurements. The DRI stores up to 100
readings plus statistics that later can be conveniently downloaded for SPC purposes. Used
in conjunction with a Shimpo motorized or manual test stand, the DRI lends itself to
thousands of applications and permits hands-free testing.
Shimpos LC remote load cells are
available in capacities up to 500 pounds, enabling force testing of bulky objects. Our TC
torque transducers precisely measure static torque for capacities up to 100 inch pounds.
One year warranty.

Incredibly durable and user-friendly, our
economical mechanical gauges are excellent for repetitive testing in assembly line or
quality control lab applications. The peak mode features an easy push-button reset; this
is especially helpful for doing repetitive testing in an assembly line or quality control
lab. The real time mode allows you to see force changes as they occur.
Ergonomically designed for handheld use, both
gauges may be used with the optional
handle (great for loads over 15 pounds). Response time is immediate. Large, easy to
read dial indicators are designed to reduce gauge parallax.
The MF gauges feature a die-cast aluminum
housing; the EM gauges feature a durable, lightweight ABS plastic housing. Both gauges
mount easily to all Shimpo test stands for even greater control of repetitive testing. Two
year warranty.

Shimpo's
newest line of 500 Lb. motorized test stands provide multiple
user-friendly features. All options are fully programmable from
force, travel, distance, speed, cycling and dwell times. The
stand can actually move a set distance from the point at which a
force is detected! Because of an extended travel range, the
stand can accomodate very large samples and long travel
requirements. The all steel construction makes the stand very
reliable under even harsh testing conditions. These stands are
precise enough for the laboratory and rugged enough for the shop
floor, making them perfect for all applications.
